Kendall's conference

Kendall's school conference went great - she's right where she should be. She still needs to work on sharing (which she said is just about everyone in the class) and that she only has to tell Kendall something once and she remembers it forever. They are learning to recognize their names and she said Kendall is getting really good at that. She is always willing to be the teacher's helper and is a good listener. All good things to hear.
Kendall is very much looking forward to going Trick or Treating. I'm getting nervous though because I've been planning on her being a Michigan cheerleader but she keeps saying "i'm a bumblebee" - I can't find a costume in 2 days! So I'm hoping once the candy is accumulating in her bag she could care less what she is wearing.

Evan's birthday party

I'm sure Maison was giving a look that meant "stop touching me" since Kendall just wants to hug and squeeze her constantly
waving to the hay riders
finally on the hay ride
She really liked the apple cider - until a bee flew in it!

Tyler didn't mind sitting by Kendall - but as you can see Brady was inching away from her!

Meredith, Maison and Kendall

We went to Evan's birthday party at Orchard Hill Farms on Saturday - Kendall had a great time. She got to pick out her own little pumpkin and she was very excited about seeing and hearing all the animals. She loved the hayride behind the tractor also. It was so sweet when she found Meredith - they ran to each other and hugged. They get along so well!

I can't keep up with all the pumas

she just loves "sleeping" with her babies - and heaven forbid they all share one big blanket! and right now i think she has oh maybe five babies that actually sleep in her bed with her?!?!? oh and we have increased to having 3 pet pumas and now we carry them on leashes like dogs. And for those of you who dont' know PUMAS ARE BOYS. All of them.
This is a gift from Grandma Miller when mommy graduated - she just loves this little graduate statue
She told me this morning "i need raids mom"
Doing a back somersault in tumbling class
she was supposed to be making a pencil and rolling....
she wanted to make funny faces in the tub.....

this was her monster face - I sure hope that's not how she smiled yesterday for pictures!

finally a haircut picture

I was finally able to get a picture of her getting her hair cut. She would never sit there before, but last night she sat all by herself and let Stacy cut her hair.
And today I was told that I am not a girl, I'm a boy. She's REAL funny.

Tumbling class and singing

Kendall started a tumbling class last night. It is for 2-3 year olds. She had such a blast. When we first got there the teachers (who are husband and wife) pointed to a bunch of circles on the floor for the kids to sit on and stretch and instead of doing that, Kendall went and sat right next to the teachers. When they had to line up to do things - she was the first in line and ready to go. Miss Molly said "she is the best listener we've ever taught". Too bad she doesn't always listen at home!

Last night at dinner she sang us two songs that she sings at school - I was completely blown away that she remembered all of the words. One of them was a song about rain that I've never heard and then she also sang "you're a grand old flag" and she even did movements to them. It was hilarious. I tried to tape her this morning singing but she told me she didn't want to. :(
