Merry Christmas!

Kendall finally understood what Christmas meant this year PRESENTS. She wasted no time opening things this year. And she has enjoyed everything so far. It was a long day with NO NAP but she did just fine. Breanna got to spend the night on Christmas night and she was in her glory.

Visiting with Santa

Kendall was not afraid of Santa this year either! She got to visit him once with daddy and once with mommy. While with mommy we ran into Uncle B, Aunt Krissy and Quinncey. Quinncey was NOT a fan of Santa - but she did okay.
Kendall and Uncle B showing us their teeth.......

At least Quinncey was looking at me!

What a great week we have ahead of us - Christmas and Kendall's birthday party, she is excited for both!!

I'm telling on you!

On Sunday Kendall and I went to Costco (one of our favorite places) and it was ABOUT to be nap time so I was rushing - by the time we got to the car she had had it and was a CRAB. So I told her she was a crab and she just looked at me kinda funny and didn't say anything. We are almost to grandma's house and she says "is grandma going to be there?" I told her yes she would be home from church now and she told me "I'm telling grandma that you called me a crab." Very funny Kendall.

Nice long weekend

Me, Breanna, Aunt Beck and Kendall made our own play dough on Friday. It burnt the heck out of my hands - but once it cooled down the girls loved helping me knead it into actual play dough.Kendall picked green - of course. Since everything is green.

After we ate lunch on Thursday - we did our usual afternoon of bowling. Kendall got to use Breanna's Spongebob ball and she was in love with it! The bowling center didn't have shoes small enough for her, which really bothered her because she wanted to be like the rest of us. But she soon forgot about it and had a blast.

She would only let grandpa and Aunt Beck help her bowl.

Somersault!

Last night in tumbling, Kendall did her first somersault with no assistance. She was so proud of herself that she did like 40 in a row and I got dizzy just watching her. She got a sticker for it and she wore it proudly. Of course this was the ONE NIGHT mommy left her camera in the car!! AGH!!! :)

Halloween and our new place

Kendall had a blast on Halloween this year. Her school does a little costume parade through SJV and she liked that. I actually had the day off so that I could participate in her school activities, but she wanted nothing to do with me. She kept telling me "go to work mommy". Which I guess is bittersweet ~ I'm glad she likes daycare/school - but geez she could ACT like she likes me a little bit! When I told her she was leaving with me she started crying. Oh well.At night we went trick or treating with daddy and then uncle andy, michelle and breanna. Kendall was having conversations with EVERYBODY that answered the door "what's yer goggy's name, what are you doing in there?" And when we told the girls to yell louder - Kendall was definitely the loudest.
And here she is on her bed in her NEW ROOM. She has adjusted quite well so far (even though it's only been one night)

Kendall's conference

Kendall's school conference went great - she's right where she should be. She still needs to work on sharing (which she said is just about everyone in the class) and that she only has to tell Kendall something once and she remembers it forever. They are learning to recognize their names and she said Kendall is getting really good at that. She is always willing to be the teacher's helper and is a good listener. All good things to hear.
Kendall is very much looking forward to going Trick or Treating. I'm getting nervous though because I've been planning on her being a Michigan cheerleader but she keeps saying "i'm a bumblebee" - I can't find a costume in 2 days! So I'm hoping once the candy is accumulating in her bag she could care less what she is wearing.

Evan's birthday party

I'm sure Maison was giving a look that meant "stop touching me" since Kendall just wants to hug and squeeze her constantly
waving to the hay riders
finally on the hay ride
She really liked the apple cider - until a bee flew in it!

Tyler didn't mind sitting by Kendall - but as you can see Brady was inching away from her!

Meredith, Maison and Kendall

We went to Evan's birthday party at Orchard Hill Farms on Saturday - Kendall had a great time. She got to pick out her own little pumpkin and she was very excited about seeing and hearing all the animals. She loved the hayride behind the tractor also. It was so sweet when she found Meredith - they ran to each other and hugged. They get along so well!
